Academy Admissions

The Governing Body of Heybridge Primary School welcome applications for admission to the school from parents who wish their children to be admitted in the September of the school year in which they become 5 years of age.  Parents should apply by post or online to the Local Education Authority by the closing date.

Applications received after the closing date will be considered by LEA and added to this list.

The current published admission number (PAN) for Heybridge Primary School is 60 for 2022/23 and it will remain at 60 for the 2023/24 academic year.

Where applications for admission exceed the number of places available, the following criteria will be applied, in the order set below, to determine which children to admit:

  1. Looked after or previously looked after children;
  2. Medical or social needs;
  3. Whether the child has a brother or sister attending the school;
  4. Proximity of home to school by straight line distance, those living nearer being given the highest priority.
