PTFA

Welcome to the Heybridge Primary School Parents, Teachers & Friends Association (PTFA)

Did you know that just by sending your child or children to our School, you are already a member of our PTFA?

How active you are within the PTFA is however, entirely your choice!

This page aims to give you a little bit of information about the PTFA and the activities and fundraising events that will be coming up throughout the school year.

Our PTFA is a voluntary organisation currently made up of a handful of parents and staff. Over the years we have raised thousands of pounds, which have been spent on improving equipment and resources to enhance our childrens' education and the facilities in School in general.  With the continued support of parents and staff, our PTFA has always succeeded in its efforts.

Our PTFA is about much more than just fundraising. We also provide closer links between home and school and it is an excellent way to bring staff, parents and friends together socially, in support of our School.

We had plenty of fundraising and other social events throughout 2015 but as always we really needed the hands-on helpers to assist us in achieving our success and will continue to do so into 2016. Everyone can get involved if they want to, even if they only have a small amount of time available, we are always in need of volunteers – whether its helping out with organising a particular event, selling raffle tickets or even just helping to tidy away after an event. Your time will always be greatly appreciated.

WE HOPE TO SEE YOU AND PARTICULARLY WELCOME NEW PARENTS OF OUR EARLY YEARS / FOUNDATION STAGE.

At the Extra Ordinary General Meeting we will be looking to adopt the draft constitution after consultation with those that attend the meeting.  Click on the link below to see information on the constitution:

If you are unable to make it to PTFA meetings, but have any other free time, suggestions, ideas for fundraising, or feedback about anything on this page or the PTFA in general - or you are interested in finding out more about our PTFA - please speak directly to an active PTFA member or to someone in the School Office. Alternatively, you can contact us directly by e-mail at ptfa@heybridge-tkat.org or in writing to the School Office in an envelope, clearly marked PTFA.

Thank you.  We very much look forward to your support over the coming year.
